Living Like Birds

Every morning when I wake up and go out on the balcony with my first cup of coffee, I am greeted by the most beautiful symphony I have ever heard. All the birds are eagerly singing their morning songs. I respect and love birds. Each day they having to fight for their lives, fight and search for food, brave the hot and cold weather yet they wake up each morning and welcome the new day with a song. Wouldn't it be nice if we could all do that every day, no matter what is going on with our lives? I'm not saying that we have to sing but wake up happy and positive about the new day ahead.

This is so sweet Sharon. You are right, poor little things they do not have an easy life, but they look happy all the time.

They really do and not matter what is going on or how they feel, they will sing their little hearts out.

Yes it would. They have worries too but they only react when it happens. They don't sit around like humans do and contemplate what could happen.

@simone10,You are absolutely right. It's really a divine experience to watch the birds singing. They live with nature whereas we have distanced ourselves from nature. They don't worry for tomorrow,we do.They don't have bank balances,we do.We live an artificial life, they don't.Of course,we should try to wake up like them, but it's not easy.

No, it's not always easy to wake up and be happy. But if we give it a try and start the day with a positive attitude, I really think our day would be a lot better.

I love your drawing and your ideas. We need to choose to wake up with a positive attitude and make the best of our days. I do enjoy hearing the birds morning and evening as I am in and out or our home.

It is a great start to the day if you are able to listen to the birds. Some of ours seem to start very early - almost before it is light.

When I wake up each morning, I always try to thank the Lord for a new day and for the health and strength He has given me. Then I ask Him to direct my steps for the day.
