My machine is now purring like a kitten

Thanks to my aunt Morley Hunt, my sewing machine is now purring like a kitten and I now know how to properly maintain it. This was a beautiful older machine that was given to me by my grandma. It likely hasn't seen much use, if any, in the last decade or so. A quick cleaning and oiling was all that was needed to get rid of the squealing. Now I can use the machine and practice my sewing skills. Thanks again aunt Morley!

That's good. Most sewing machines work better after a good cleaning. Mine hasn't been cleaned for awhile as I don't use it much any more.

Nice. My mother is the seamstress in our house, and she has one of those "new fangled" machines with computer-y programmed stuff and all. She'd go nuts if her machine didn't work.
