In Between Time

Your mind goes blank without a thought A true beginning of feeling lost Freedom is suddenly not an option a true breakdown of human emotion it's way beyond your comprehension Tunnels and tubes of light emerge upon the soul you call your own Parallel worlds converge folding into another time zone In between time are all the things you've lost In between time you find your living ghost In between time there's a whole new race in between time you could easily be erased Poltergeists are not real right? they exist in your mind's eye Running water is forced by gravity a force that moves time for eternity The sadness of all pollution is from human consumption In between time is all the wreckage from our lives In between time all bad moments cut like knives In between time lies the golden goose In between time he's dead, hanging with a noose Copyright © 1999 Steven Cetta All Rights Reserved Image Credit : CoolText.com inertia4, Between, Time, poem, inertia4poetry

Most of the poems I write are like that. I always get my inspiration from music. I find that to me the best poetry out there.

Some people believe in things they can not see. It is all on what one believes.

Well, I believe anything is possible. But this is just a poem and a strange one at that. As long as the reader can interpret it the way they feel, that is good enough for me.

Thank you. I do sometimes tend to lean toward the dark side of things when I write. Glad you enjoyed it.

Yes, many individuals kill the goose that lays the golden eggs because of not understanding time. Good poem!

@inertia4 What do you think is the point or points of the poem?

@1hopefulman To me I think it would exactly that. Being in between time itself. Like there is a dimension within a dimension.

Another great writing inertia. I admire your skills here. I rarely am able to focus enough to write like this.

I think if you put your mind to it you can write like that. I bet you would even be better at it than I am. I am no poet, believe me. I am no writer either. But I do try.

Nice. I may have to read this one a few times to catch all the nuances.
