Do You Have a Second Birthday?

I don't have a second birthday, but my manager's daughter had. I know you're wondering why.
Well, my manager's daughter met an accident when she was four years old. When she was rushed to the hospital, the doctor declared her as DOA(dead on arrival). My manager was totally devastated and insisted and pleaded to the doctor to revive her. The doctor did his best and suddenly she miraculously had a heartbeat and luckily survived.
From that time on my manager gave her a birthday party every February 9 as her second birthday. It's a signed of thanks that his girl had survived on that day and was given a second life. Her real birthday is on June 15 so they celebrated it twice in a year.

I heard similar stories about second life.
My college classmate has a different story though. He is celebrating his bday twice as well. But a different story. He was born on February 14 but on his birth certificate, he was born on June 14. So he celebrates two birthdays.

I can understand why he gives her 2 birthdays although her date if birth is June 15th. Her revival date is that date. Two separate things which both can be celebrated.

i have a friend like that. she was born with a genetic condition, but she doesn't talk much about it.
