Do I Have Liver Cancer?

For few weeks now, I've been bloating after eating so yesterday I consulted a doctor who then asked me to have ultrasound. The ultrasound result states: Mild fatty liver and a cyst in right hepatic lobe…” I was so nervous upon seeing the word cyst. I thought it could be cancerous. So I asked the doctor if I have cancer. The doctor smiled and calmly said, “Of course you don’t have cancer. You only have hyperacidity and mild fatty liver so you need to avoid too much fatty, sour, spicy, sugary, salty food also alcoholic and soda drinks. You don’t even need to take any medicine.” The doctor also said that the cyst is just a small hepatic cyst with no malignant potential. It is not even a tumor but a benign liver lesion. There is no medication needed just monitoring so I have to come back for another ultrasound after six months. I thanked the doctor and left the clinic happily. As I was walking my way to the parking lot, I kept thanking God..

I have no problem with vegetables, I love and prefer eating them more than any other dishes. My problem is my too much intake of sweets, now I have to control my sweet tooth.

@Letranknight2015 I am now regularly taking moringa, I hope it helps.

@salonga then you have to control eating of sweets and possibly focus more on the vegetables. I think moringa / malungay or okra could lower blood sugar levels.

Thank you my friend! I asked the doctor why I have mild fatty liver when I don't eat fatty food, I don't even eat pork and my chicken is cooked without skin and I drink no carbonated drinks ever in my life and I exercise regularly. She asked me how about sweets? I smiled to her and I admitted I love sweets especially chocolates. The doctor smiled back at me and said, that is the answer to your question.

That's good news but the bad news is you can eat only salads and veggies with no butter or dressing on them. ....jut kidding but I have found I love veggies and salad and I eat them most of the time, very little meat, eggs, lots of good stuff.

It's good to hear that you are okay, though you need to take care of your diet now. My husband just came back from a medical checkup, and he told me he has mild fatty liver as well. I had no idea what it is until he explained to me. Glad that no medication is needed, but he has to watch his diet and also do more exercise. I thought we have been eating quite healthy, but sometimes he go out and eat with his friends. No matter how, outside food is still not so healthy.

I'm glad you're okay. I have a cyst in my head, but it's just there, it's not harmful, and it isn't any bigger than it used be. I too have fatty liver, as did my mother.
