1973 – Marvel – Spoiler alerts Having driven a villain called The Gargoyle to apparent suicide in previous issues, The Hulk is now pursued for revenge by the Gargoyle’s hideously deformed child son, The Gremlin. The Gremlin has a secret underground base hidden in the Arctic ice, from where he wonders how to lure the Hulk into his clutches. By extreme chance and in blatant disregard of readership credibility, the Hulk is in the Arctic being pursued by the US air force when he falls through the ice, right into the Gremlin’s Lair. The Gargoyle can't believe his luck either as he uses gas to trap the Hulk and also ensnares the air force team, including General Ross who is his most persistent pursuer. The Gargoyle tries to get Hulk blood to fuel his army of mutant soldiers, but Hulk inevitably escapes though deliberately and rather coldly, he leaves General Ross at the mercy of the Gargoyle. Getting everyone to the Arctic trap is preposterously handled though once there the story is well handled, especially Hulk’s abandonment of his human opponent, which could have serious consequences later. The only Hulk I'm familiar with is the old TV show, and then I only watched it occasionally. Does Hulk actually think intelligently while he's the Hulk? I honestly don't know.

@teamfreak16 sometimes as Banner he experiments and gives Hulk a brain and intellect but it usually wears off to make him more brutal and mindless again

I remember a show that was made in the 1980s called The Incredible Hulk, but I never knew it was in comic book form.

The Hulk was never one of my favourites. Actually I can't think of any superhero who is
