Hide and seek electronics...

If you have kids you have probably at some point had to look for a missing tablet or a missing 3DS. I am having to look for both. My son has found an amazing hiding spot and I can't figure out where it is. I have been crawling around for the last 15 minutes looking under everything that has legs. Including the dog! Where do you usually find lost items?

My children will not hide our things, but they always like to keep things inside plastic bags or bags, and they don't even remember where they have put everything. So, sometimes we will get surprise when we found out something.

We are still looking for our lost items ! Our kids don't hide stuff - they just flat out forget where they put stuff. And this is everyday with everything! Then they get mad at me for not helping them find it! Yah, moms are supposed to magically know where they put stuff .

It must be some type of contracts for moms. My daughter does that to me at least once a day. We are still looking for stuff she misplaced. How hard is it to put it away so you can find it. LOL

@much2say It must be an automatic response. You find it and they say "oh, there it is!" like they found it. LOL I don't know about these kids. My daughter can't see what's in front of her. I always have to look where she said she looked and I find. Then when I give it to her and tell her where it was shy says she looked there and it wasn't there! LIke I put it there?! or I am telling a story! I tell her I am taking her to DR Pearl.

@mommaj Seriously, right? They think every spot in this house (except for their rooms and the shelves/tables/drawers in their rooms) is THEIR place to put stuff. They freak out when they can't find something - and then when I find it, they say "Oh, there it is!"

Have you looked in the fridge? Yes, I've found lost things there too that don't belong there.

@mommaj I find the oddest things in the fridge. I wonder if the fridge is related to the dryer and it's like going into Dimension X at just the right time. Whatever we've got in our hands is left there and our minds are on something completely different and we have no recollection of putting it there due to our brains being hijacked for that brief moment.

@mommaj I think it is really common with people especially if anyone in the household likes to change the channels XD

I think you are very capable of misplacing items even if you do not have kids at home!

@mommaj Knowing you, you are more than capable of losing yourself online, losing your way when we go out, and definitely very capable of losing any item at home.

I am very good at putting things in a safe place so that they do not get lost. In fact, I am SO good at it that I can't even remember where half of those safe places are when I need to find the things.

@purplealabaster Isn't it funny how that always happens? You can never find what you are looking for, but you always find what you lost earlier. LOL

I have the same problem. Then I blame the kids. When I find it, I realize, oops, I did that.

@mommaj LOL - Months later when I am looking for something totally unrelated, I will obviously stumble upon what I had been looking for and say "Oh yeah, now I remember that is where I put that". Of course, I then I still need to find whatever it was that I was looking for at that moment.

@allknowing Simple. As soon as remote gets lost parents turn off tv. No child should be in control. LOL My kids at least hide their own stuff and not mine. LOL

Sometimes, lost items just appear out of nowhere . One day I was looking for my eyeglasses.. couldn't find it in the car, in the drawers, the bedroom , bathroom and then I looked in the mirror and then saw my glasses stuck on my face .. It's one of those glasses that is light you won't feel that you are wearing one ..

If I don't have my glasses on, I wouldn't be able to look for them because I am practically blind without them.

It could be in his toy basket, or in the wash room under the sink under his pillow or mattress. Check out his personal spaces. Just try and recall where he hides when you play with him hide and seek?

He has been very clever with his hiding spots. I finally found it between the bedframe and the mattress. I know he moved it there, because I had already looked there. LOL

You will find the missing electronics alongside the missing remote control and missing socks. Which means, you'll probably never find them! lol

@moffittjc There is probably a mountainous ball of socks somewhere. They are all laughing at the fact no one can find them.
