Snow Gives Way to Spring

Yesterday we had snow, at least four inches is my guess. However, snow and gray skies have given way to blue skies and melted snow, as you can see in the picture above. I just looked out to see what kind of day we were going to have today and was pleasantly surprised by the warmer temps and the melted snow. So it looks like spring will show up. At least she's trying to, if winter will stay away and allow her to rejuvenate the earth. What's it like by you?

The sun shone brightly today, but we had scattered snow flurries throughout the day, but no accumulation. I hope that the weather turns around soon, I'm getting tired of this winter weather. Your picture looks nice and bright.

A nice gently rain all day today. I went to Guitar Center with a fiend (see my most recent post), but mostly just stayed home, played music, listened to music, and graded papers. My plants are happy with the rain.

@Elizaby I'm already planning to leave by 8:30. This is the sister I got lost going to her house on Easter. I'll definitely be watching for that turnoff when I leave tomorrow. I do know the way to her home. I was just surprised they're having the shower on Sunday morning - 11 AM.

I just checked the weather site and the arctic blast is going to miss us completely. Our temps are going up after tomorrow. Though tonight and tomorrow morning we're supposed to get snow. I really hope not, I have to travel to my sister's an hour from here tomorrow morning for a baby shower. I don't want to think about icy highways and stupid drivers.

What a difference 24 hours makes for your weather. We had a cold windy day here today. Didn't get out of the 40's with winds 15-25 mph, gusts to 40. I froze while mowing the grass. My plan was to mow Monday, however with rain moving in for a couple days I thought it best to get it done today. Have a blessed evening

Wow, that is crazy tht you got so much snow. I guess it's only April after all. I personally have no snow here although it's chilly! It's been only hovering around 30 degrees here in Minnesota. Today we have some sunshine but again just cold. At least it's not cold and raining or snowing though. Enjoy your day!

Yes it is and it's calling for overnight snow with some tomorrow morning, but the high here is in the 40's so whatever we get won't last.
