Too cold

Today was just too cold for soccer but yet we had soccer this morning. My poor 5 year old was crying through the whole practice because she was cold, missed daddy or for no reason at all just crying. It was a long cold morning with me and three kids by myself. My husband has school work to do so he couldn't help. My other two kids where freezing as well. They didn't cry about being stuck outside watching there sister practice. But hope next week its much warmer and I won't have to take the other two kids with me either if the weather is bad.

i understand you guys long for a warmer season but we here in the Philippines long for a rainy day. we're going through el niño and i dont think its healthy to be outside anymore. anyway i hope your kids are feeling better now..

They where much happier after we where done amd got in the car. The car not being on was warmer the outside ans my car had been sitting for an hour.

I'm glad we're not dealing with cold. It's hard to pay attention when it's really cold. That's a tough practice.

well she is 5 so its tough to listen during practice to being with. yeah the cold made it worse.

Aw I am so sorry it is so cold there my friend. It is no longer cold here. Wish it would warm up for you.

the weather keeps going back and forth between warm then cold it doesn't know what it wants to be.

I don't get to make that choice. If its not to wet the fields stay open and the the coaches for this age don't get to make the choice if its to cold to practice or play. I'm use to this cold weather and playing soccer it myself so I don't expect the little ones to. But most of us parents didn't think it would that cold but since it's the first practice of this half of the season most everyone skipped out just before 10am. My dad end up having soccer games all day with the big kids. My nephew's baseball practice and game got canceled.
