Before I Get Started - Update on Dad

Thank you to all of you who responded to my prayer request and the update on my dad.
My brother called shortly before 1 PM. Dad is with Mom now and my next older brother who passed a couple years ago.
My brother went back up to the hospital around 8:30 this morning and was been with him until the end.
I know nothing has really sunk in yet. I was just getting used to the fact Mom was gone, having passed in October, and my brother, younger than me by 16 months who passed in 2014.
Someone described this feeling as being an orphan. I know when I got the call yesterday that was the first thing I thought of. I'm an orphan now. There are just three of us now. My younger brother and my sister. It's going to be different from now on.
Thank you again. Now I'm going to get started on the Daily Bible Study.

My condolances to you and your family. May he RIP. I know the feeling as I lost my parents a number of years ago. It is a strange feeling and I know that for a while I would think I should call and let mom and dad know about this and then realize I can't do that because they are gone.

@just4him I had the same thing with my mum a few years ago...even if it is expected it is devastating so I do know you're going through a very hard time and it isn't nice.

Very sorry for you loss. I know the feeling of orphan, I feel like that as well, My dad passed in 2000 and my mom in 2003 2 1/2 years after my dad. It's tough and I will forever miss them.

I read your eulogy on your father in another post which was a good thing as you got an opportunity to live with your father so to say.

Thank you. It's hard to think both my parents are gone. Now they are together with my brother too.
