He Loves To Ride The Escalator

My son is 1 year and eight months old. He has two favorite activities everytime we bring him to the mall.
One- ride on the carousel. A five minute ride is not enough for him. So usually it's at leasy a couple of rides in tge carousel for him before we could convince him to get down. His second favorite ridev-- thankfully its a free ride... Is the escalator.
Yup he's not afraid of it. He would step on and out of it like it was normal stairs. After the escalator reaches the other end he would drag me and/or his mom to the other one and go the opposite direction. Going down, he would often sit on the steps .
I just hope no one notices us going up and down the escalator. Hehe

Thats so cute! I remember when I was little I was so scared of the escalators I would stand on the top and wouldn't move and by the time my mom noticed she rode it all the way down and saw me still standing up on the top of the escalators. she would have to ride back up to bring me down , I was very scared. Still as an adult I hesitate a little before I ride down one of those things

Most toddlers are afraid to ride the escalator. Perhaps the reason that he is not, during his first ride on the escalator we let him stand on it. He must have enjoyed the first ride.
