Dribbled Drab

Its wonderful to get compliments out of the blue and especially from people one has not yet met . . . thank you John @ison1 - Flattery will get you everywhere!
Dribbled Drab was my answer to a response and I immediately thought its a brilliant title, but to what affect?
When I open @MyLot in the morning, in my time zone, there are many of the eastern writers that have flooded the pages with their rants, raves and SOME interesting facts, but most often there are one liners, silly questions which make up the Dribbled Drab of the day!
e.g: do you prefer baths or showers and why? Really? Now what kind of rebuttal is this person expecting, and how deep can the conversations go and where does it lead?
Then there are the writings of the Western world left overnight for me to peruse with my morning coffee, some have substance, others are reviews of MY day before, and others are dribble and drab from angry writers.
e.g. Does your spuse bore you??? (yes you read correctly - spuse was used instead of spouse)
So, with tongue in cheek I accept the compliment that my post are not always boring and that I have some decent photos to entertain if the dribble is drap, but whats your call on the morning session in your time zone of the MyLot writings?
My photo has nothing to do with the topic - but its a lovely photo of how they make special perches for the Black Oyster Catches to make nests in a special Bird Sanctuary along our coast.

I really dislike the one sentence posters. There's nothing to keep my interest beyond giving them an equally brief response. I will never friend someone who doesn't hold any kind of interest if they can't give me more than one sentence to read. I know there isn't a word or character limit on myLot, but when it comes to post length there should be some kind of minimum to detract from those who want to post only a sentence. I don't know what they hope to gain. It certainly won't be a following unless it's from other one sentence posters. It's funny, I always know when I'm going to find one of those one sentence posters. They will tell me my posts are long. Yeah, I know they are. It seems this comment is too.
I like a post that has some meat to it. Something I can chew on and something that will stay with me through the course of the day. Let it be thought provoking, funny, or just something amusing that happened to them in the course of their day, and you will find me coming back for more.
It's a meal I'm after, not an appetizer. Thanks for the meal. I love the picture.

Wonderful explaination of how you feel - I also like a meal rather than a question or taste as you put it! How are you doing - big hugs to you and know that I am thinking of you and hold you up to God for all your inspiration and strength as you pass through this valley of shadows. xx

I throw out that sort of thing now and then, ie my zombie one, but I thought that one was still a tad creative, lol!

We could all find the negative in anything in this world but I choose to look for the positive-there are MANY different discussions to choose from here so if a few discussions don't interest someone there's still plenty of others to choose from! =)

I hope that all is well in your part of the world. Your discussions definitely never bore.

I think this is so nice that they make special perches for these birds. I mostly spend my mornings catching up on postings from the northern hemisphere.
