If they were innocent and were held without any concrete evidences, they should be compensated for the harassment and the mental torture they had to undergo. Just under pressure the authorities must have arrested any youths and must have tried to make them confess to crimes they did not know anything about.
The three were taken into custody on Tuesday during a police search in the Brussels district of Uccle and questioned regarding Paris attacks

Are you kidding ? In France any person suspected of terrorism can be held by the police up to 6 days. They are not tortured, can have a lawyer to assist them, and have to be seen by a doctor every 24h.
These young people have been held only during 24h, the time needed to control their ID and sayings. A driver without a car insurance would be held approximately the same time...
