Bragging After Helping

I'm starting to become really annoyed with most of the things I see on Facebook. Just now, I saw someone posted about how he helped a little boy who's asking money for food. Okay, so I admire him for helping and giving what the boy needs. But taking picture of the boy with what you gave, and then posted it on social media to show everyone that you're such a good samaritan, I consider it as form of bragging already. There are a lot of ways to help, and there are so many instances that we can help others, but it doesn't necessarily require that we broadcat it to the whole nation. For what?

It's off putting to me too when I see photos of people handing out money or food to the less fortunate.. It's called false generosity ..

@LdeL0318 ..
It's annoying to me when there are natural calamities and especially election time over there in the Philippines, when politicians and celebrities are shown to hand out food parcels and money . It makes it looks like as if the goods are from them ...

It's okay if the intention is to really help and not just to show other people.

It really annoyed me. I logged out of facebook after seeing that. If I will post my activities in helping others, then I guess my account would be full.

As the bible says : Do not let your right hand know what your left hand does.
