A Slightly Past Quarter Moon

A slightly past quarter moon, was shining yesterday at the zenit just before sleep time , the shining disk was just to the right of the star Regulus, which is the shining star that froms part of the constellation Leo, in my region. It is always a thrill to watch our natural satellite while it is displacing day by day on the night sky. I´m not sure if tomorrow, the lighted portion of the moon will be able to reflect a portion of sunlight from its face, as scattered clouds are hidding it from time to time. This is a sign that remind us that the rainy season is approaching soon. Were you able to observe the moon yesterday from your region? What phase is the moon approaching in your region?
