Pull Tabs!

I went out to lunch with my dad yesterday for the first time in forever yesterday and he asked if I wanted to play some pull tabs, which is a total waste of money. For those who dont have this, its a form of gambling where you open these cardboard "pull tabs" and wait to see a line with a winner dollar amount.
I took out $40 with the expectation of blowing it all and we both actually hit two winners! After all was said and done we were both up $40 and quit. Amazing!
I have played these in the past and not done well on them. I always see tons of people playing pretty manicly - but I dont feel your odds are that good.
Do you have pull tabs where you live? Or any type of popular gambling at bars and restaurants?

I don“t have that There are other gambling games here. As I like gambling a lot, I decided I would not do it EVER in my country. So it is just a holiday addiction.

Mine are scratch cards. I usually buy some. Sometimes I win but most of the times not. But I am still hoping to win a bigger cash amount so I am not giving up.

Nowadays, I buy scratch cards whenever I get the chance. I'd win a bit of money every now and then that would add up to my grocery money or simply enough to buy my son a treat. I'm still hoping to win a jackpot though, as it would solve my money problems.

Congrats on the win! I don't see pull tabs where I live or if we do .. I never knew about them because I don't frequently go to bars/restaurants..

We don't have them here in Virginia or at least not where I'm at. We do scratchers every now and then and it's normally the $1 or $2 we play we have good odds ans won't some money for sure.
