Flat screens

I had no idea how problematic these flat screen Tvs can be. Apparently most of them are hard to repair when they break down. They need imported spare parts which cost much. One even prefers to buy another instead of doing a small repair. I wonder if it is even worth having one.
The older fashion one are easy to repair. Do you have this problem where you are?

Here most flat ones are imported and so are their spare parts

About 2 months ago my son threw his bottle at the corner of our 42inch LCD LG and the cost for a new screen was almost the same as buying a new one, I was upset and ended up having to buy another flatscreen

Thankfully I haven't had the problem. What I don't like about them is cleaning them. They seem hard to actually come clean at least for me.

We have a flat screen TV and it programs itself. Just turn it on and it goes through all of the channels.
