King Crabs in the Antarctic?

I was given a stack of Smithsonian magazines. Now not long back I wrote how for the most part, that magazine seems like a sounding board for pushing evolution on people. And I still feel that way. But there is some good in the magazine, as well. Some of the articles I found quite interesting really. Or at least parts of the articles. The piece on the history of the potato was short and to the point and enlightening. But one piece is a mite scary if you have the good sense to realize what it was saying. It said that the King Crab is taking up residence in the region of the Antarctic. It's been spotted and is reproducing. So what you ask? The magazine said a professor doing research on the matter stated it was the first time in (some number or other) of millions of years since it was last seen there, because (presumably up until now) the waters were too cold. Now if you don't buy into the millions of years gig (and I don't), it still makes a very powerful statement. They have been SEEN there and it has been RECORDED. Hence, the conclusion: those waters are WARMING. We're not talking about Daddy's bathtub here. We're talking about the Antarctic.
