There are a lot of obese pigeons near my house.
They are so fat that they can hardly fly or jump out of the way when danger approaches.
That is why you can see many of them die in car accident.
They just cannot get out of the way even when they see the car approaching very slowly.
I feel sad to say that the cats here are well-fed and fat too.
They are just not energetic enough to play with the pigeons.
They just sleep while the pigeons rest nearby.
If only the cats and dogs are more playful, and energetic, perhaps the pigeons do not get so fat.

i love the way you think. You made me smile. I have never seen a fat pigeon but then I don't live in a city, I live in a rural area where all birds work hard to live a happy life...

They will not bring you to the housing estates where you can see fat pigeons.
I do not know how that place becomes the favorite place of those pigeons.
Perhaps it is near to shopping mall, and many people just buy something to feed the pigeons.

it's strange that pigeons would get so fat their flight instincts are affected. maybe it's an urban phenomenon also because of the ingredients in city food.

That is true, when we feed much our cats, they don't even catch rat and that is the worst scenario where you can see you cats sleeping and the rats are playing.

@ladylaura89 haha, in this case, the cats will get fat, while @ida123 will slim down because she has to run after the rats!
