I almost hate getting on the internet because there is always something depressing going on in the world. Well, today was no exception!! The depressing news is that suicide is rising in the U.S. Also the report says that "middle aged women" between the ages of 45-64 " had the highest suicide rate among women in both 1999 and 2014. This age group also had the largest increase in suicide rate: 63%, from 6 to 9.8 per 100,000. " All, this info according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. For more info, you can read about it here http://www.wesh.com/health/us-suicide-rates-on-the-rise-especially-among-women/39160300 I like to try to keep positive about things and not get depressed. I have suffered from depression in the past. ~Peace~ photo courtesy of http://www.wesh.com/health/us-suicide-rates-on-the-rise-especially-among-women/39160300

It is saddening. From the oldest to the youngest in that age group, we have been there experiencing all that the 1960s-1970s American Feminist Movement has had to offer for us. But, there is a price to be paid for all of those advancements too because while we may be super women, not a single one of us is Supergirl.

The world seems more demanding now and causes more stress. And I think that as the old family ties are not as important as they used to be, people feel loneliness more than before
