I've learned to take screen prints of the error messages I get now and then and once I have at least two I thought I'd ask mylotters if they've ever seen these errors and what they'd done to resolve the error.
I've been using Chrome lately and now I'm getting error messages about shock wave, apparently it's crashed but for the life of me into what??

I'm using windows 7 and I get those messages all the time too. It's not the version of windows that causes it but the flash player having bad days for whatever reason. I'm using firefox currently and they're not using shockwave at present as they say it's an older version. I'm doing quite well with firefox and things are much speedier right now. I'm not sure how long it will last, but I'm staying put until things change. Chrome uses shockwave. I even got a recent update on it, but firefox still says the current version is too old and not good.

@rebelann I don't think it's a pc problem, but more like an Adobe problem. I think they bought the shockwave flash player that's supposed to allow for smoother animations and videos, but they really need to revamp that particular program. Maybe it's over their head?

I'm hoping I can find a way to afford an iPad, that would really solve the problem here.
There are quite a few helpful techy members here that have helped in the past and probably will continue to do so, they are such a wonderful bunch.

Sort of, at least it hasn't happened again for now. I'm getting a little help from Microsoft.com but a lot of what they tell me I don't understand.

It has happened to me as well, as others said only here on MyLot.

In that case perhaps we need to ask @goaskalice if there's any way to get around these errors. Would be nice wouldn't it.
