Silly Me!!

It just dawned on me today, why I've been feeling the way I have been feeling!! It's my allergies!!! We have a currant bush in our front yard, another tree that is budding and the neighbors all around his have lilac bushes that are in bloom!! It takes me a couple of hours in the morning to get my eyes so that I can see, would also explain why I sneeze a lot!! Always forget about my allergies in the spring, don't suffer from them in the winter!! lol My allergies are kind of like when you get a bruise and you wonder how you got it!! Now, I know, so today, I just took a half of an allergy pill because I have housecleaning to do. If I take a whole one..I could sleep all day!! When I am anywhere from North Carolina on up, my allergies are fairly mild, but when I was living in Florida, I was beyond miserable. Among other things, I am allergic to palm trees.

Benadryl used to make me sleepy, but over the years I gathered a tolerance for it. Now, it would take six to bring me down. I'm using a nasal spray for my allergy problems right now. Spring always gets me. Hope you feel better!

Most of the year I take a non drowsy allergy pill with my morning vitamins. I stopped it for a while, but like you say, everything is in bloom.

Allergies are a pain. The running eyes, sneezing, and irritation may goodness. Thee's effective allergy medications and yes, most of them cause drowsiness, but relieving one from the irritations is worth it. I hope they don't give you too hard of a time. We have to stay clear of those things that will trigger them.
