Fighting that morning battle

I get plenty of sleep, but this morning I would so like to go back to bed.
I defeated that thought, I stripped the sheets.
Now it is time to put on shoes and get some sunshine, as that will wake me up as well.
Severe weather is in the area and I am more than a little inclined to blame my sleepiness on that.
Over the weekend we visited a small town car show. Hubby took this picture of a very old tractor.

It is sticky and heavy here. Parts of the state are in tornado warnings.

Very old indeed. Cool! I think many of us are all having a problem with sleep right now. Has to do with air pressure changes and such I think.

@GardenGerty ....Lethargy is a heavy feeling. I'd stay on your regular schedule and try not to nap too long or it could mess up the works. Sleep is so important.

My thought is that the air feels very heavy and that is making me feel tired.

I grew up in Oklahoma City and so have had the tornado issue most of my life, except when I lived in San Diego then it was the earthquakes.

We have really heavy double curtains in our bedroom.I will sometimes sleep until 7:30 but not often.

Not my favorite job, but the clean bedding smells so good. It was not a very large tractor but was bigger than a lawn tractor.

I stripped the bed today too but will put other sheets on and wash perhaps tomorrow. They are forecasting wild weather for us too today although it is not too bad at the moment.
