Fluctuating…

my PTPA results now

I had my PTPA extraction again this afternoon; I went to the hospital after lunch with my sister for our follow-up check-up and what surprised me was my PTPA is low again. From high at 4.+ something to normal range last March 23rd at 2.55, then now it is down at 1.93. It is fluctuating, and my cardiologist wanted to revise my Coumadin dosage until he asked me if I can have another blood extraction next month on the 25th, and when I said yes, he no longer revised my dosage. 1.93mg/dl is not so low actually; just 0.7mg and it is already in my normal range. I hope it will be in my normal limits again next month.

@SIMPLYD yes it is, that is why my PTPA should be constantly monitored. my normal range should be 2-3, if lower, bleeding, if higher, clot.

there is a tendency that my blood will be so watery, not viscous, and predisposes to bleeding. when it is high, the tendency is clot formation.

getting old is a natural growing process hijo. it is now up to us if we grow old healthy or not. there are some inherited illnesses that we get from our parents, but we can also control them from getting to us. dying young is not good to think about; many will say "sayang ang batang ito" (it is unfortunate for this young man to die early). well, just live your life with the limitations for your long life.
