Is Ooty lake worth visiting?

Ooty or Ootacamand is also called Udagamandalam in Tamil. It is the hills which were inhabited at one point of time by natives tribes. It is situated in Nilgiri Hills.
Due to fertile land different types of vegetation is found in Ooty. Among the different tourist attractions, the Ooty lake is one of the attractions. Many visitors come for boating in the lake.
The lake is fringed with eucalyptus forest. It looks beautiful. The weather of Ooty is charming. Rishi Kapoor's film Karz was shot in Ooty in the early 1980s.
Those people who enjoy hilly locations, for them the Ooty lake is a paradise.

Thanks Lowrie for the comments. The eucalyptus trees on either side of the banks of the lake makes the place more romantic.

@Chellezhere Thanks Michelle for the comments. Actually for older people hill destinations are attractive because they cant climb heights. But boating in Ooty lake is awesome experience.
