I dropped my van off Tuesday morning to get worked on. They just called me a few hours ago and told me it was done.
I walked down and he said that its running great now after they took the injectors out and cleaned them, changed the o-ring, and put new coils in. The cost was $375. Yikes. I can't imagine how much it would have cost if I had to get NEW injectors put in instead of them just cleaning them.
He said that the injectors get gunked up as the cars now don't have fuel filters. He said it shouldn't happen again unless I get really dirty gas. Lets hope that while I have this vehicle it doesn't happen again haha.
It is a 2002 Honda Odyssey. It is old but I didn't pay much for it and its in great shape.

@shaggin I hated expensive repairs too and no matter what these days cars are expensive.

Ouch! Majority of that is labour. I couldn't imagine paying for labour considering the stories my Dad told me when he worked as a mechanic.

The prices are outrageous at a garage. I have a story I will write tomorrow about what happened today when I dropped my van off to get worked on.

Yep now I don't have to stick to where I can walk to in town. Getting a lot of groceries and walking home was heavy and tiring. I am glad to have my van back for sure.
