Scream!

This photo has nothing to do with what happened to me today, except that I would have let out a scream if I got to go backstage to meet the cast of Hamilton, as my munchkin did. This was the only door I have in my photos.
Instead, as I opened the door to my laundry room, I saw a spider in my laundry sink! I sent out such a scream, that My husband, who was on the phone discussing last night's football drafts with his friend who just had a cornea implant, came running with the phone. He calmly took care of that nasty spider, all the while carrying on his conversation.
After doing my laundry, guess who let out another scream in her hallway?
I have an irrational fear of spiders and snakes. I can't help myself, nor do I want to become unafraid.
Do you have any fears, whether rational or irrational?

I used to have fears to spiders and bugs, to mice and other animals that want to move into my home, but there came a day when I saw so many mice that I no longer scream even at the sound of them, and spiders are just something I've gotten used to in this old house. There's nothing I can do to stop them from inhabiting my home, so I get rid of them and go on with my life.
On the other hand, I'm very afraid of heights. I have a fear of falling, and I don't like watching other people climb to great heights and tread where only angels who can't fall, should go.

@ElusiveButterfly I can't either. But it's something I have to do every once in a while.

I can handle spiders if they aren't the ones with the big squishy bellies. They gross me out. They make that icky sound when you squish them. Yuck.
Mice and other vermin along with snakes are horrible. I can't even take one out of a trap and toss it out. Snakes slithering in the grass that you almost step on send me running and screaming in the opposite direction. My husband thinks I am nuts.

@DianneN I almost just choked on my pea crisps! The visual of the lawn mower did it.

@AnneEJ I'm happy you had a good sleep. It is very warm here today, so we've been out a lot working in the yard. I hope you're not too lonely without your friend around. I'm sure you'll find many things to keep you occupied, knowing you!

@DianneN I did go to bed, had a great sleep and was up early this morning. Sun is shining here, and looks like a much warmer day. My friend has gone to BC for a week or so to visit family, so I will have to go out for coffee alone today.

I got myself to screaming when I saw a black color rat. I really don't like the idea of just seeing one or even having one around.

The only thing that can make me scream is when I see a ghost or what I think a ghost is.

every body has something that will make them scream at some time, so if you got to scream go ahead,, you probably scared the heck out of that spider..

My wife has gotten better over the years, but it is kind of funny when my wife screams or yells and says this is a "huge spider" and 95% of the time it is a small spider.
My fear, which does not stop me from getting in an elevator is that when I get off an elevator and I am 1/2 out, the elevator drops and kills me.
