A Guy checked out our car + Nice talk with the guy/stranger!

As my boyfriend and I was walking toward our car, we spotted a man parked across standing at his car looking over at ours!
As we approached closer to our car, he realized the car belonged to us and approached us. He said nice car and glad you guys are at your car because I did not want to be that weirdo who is staring at your car. He has the same car just an older model, he wanted to see the rims and spoiler up closer and ask us a few questions. He was saying how he liked the newer model (our model) new tires/rims and the spoiler, makes it look more sporty!
We do not drive a fancy car either, just a regular car - 2016 Honda Accord Sport.
We chit chat for a little - it was nice. I don't often chat with strangers or bring up any conversations.
Do you often chat with strangers?

Yes - it depends. I was with my boyfriend so I was fine. If I was alone, I would think it's awkward and drive off

LOL No I don't talk to strangers. If they initiated the conversation, I remain polite and answer their query. Nothing more!

So you have bought the new car you like? I remember you were deciding to buy a new car.
I do chat with strangers if they are nice to chat with.
When I was studying in college, I always went out alone, and I always met strangers and chatted with them. Now that I am with my children almost all the time when I go out, and some strangers would like to talk to me about my children, especially women, so I also chatted with them. I think I am quite comfortable chatting with strangers.

Yes, I think it really depends on the person/stranger. Some people just seem to be easier to approach and chat with even though we just met each other for the first time, some may require longer time to get familiar with each other.

@kaka135 Heh yes he had the same model car as us just a year older.
Some are easier to approach stranger/person. I once had a man approach me and he followed stalked me at the library. IT was creepy. Ultimately he said hi and asked if he can give me a piece of paper and ran away. It was his phone #. I ran off to find my sister.

Yes, we ended up picking the car we liked and in our budget. The other cars are nice but maintaining the car is very pricey 
That is good you are comfortable chatting with strangers. I guess it depends on the stranger. I have chatted up with some moms with kids saying their child is cute, how old are they, etc. But for other convo I would not be comfortable.

I don't often either. I find that people may think wrong if we bring up a conversation, most of the time. But glad it was a nice experience.

Honda Accord. That's a nice car you got there :) And Honda parts are durable, just a little expensive though. I've heard that in our country (particularly in the capital city), they let their buyers sign an agreement not to have their Honda cars be used as taxi. Honda has class.

@infatuatedbby I don't think Honda is average there. Honda rolls out good cars that last long :) Anyway, I would have done the same as the guy - look admiringly at your car :)

I guess I have too! I once had a man try to stalk me at a library, it was a scary experience. When I communicated with him he was giving me an little piece of paper with his # and I ran away.

I don't even chat with people I like. Just kidding. It depends. A couple weeks ago I chatted with a homeless guy as we walked down the street. Nice guy. This morning he was shoveling snow in front of the art gallery across the street from us. Glad to see someone gave him some work.
