How fancy do you get?

Prom, wedding, church...Something I've seen a lot lately is churches who have congregations filled with people in shorts and flip flops. It seems a way to get the younger generation in churches. The picture I included is one of my niece, way back when she was a baby (way back, lol, she's only almost five now). My sister loves to get her dressed up, and that includes her winter gear. So how dressed up have you ever gotten? Do you like that or loathe it?

I always dress up when I'm not walking, bike riding, or hanging around at home. Even then, I always try to look put together.

No sweat pants for you, my friend! I'm so used to dressing up nice for church that it's disorienting to see people in shorts.

I don't like dressing up too much. I wear something nice for church but when it is hot in Florida, I wear shorts and t-shirts most of the time. As far as church goes, God takes you the way you are.

I always wear a dress to church. I personally don't think shorts and flip flops are appropriate or respectful for God's house.

I was raised to wear a dress at church. It would feel odd to do something different now.

I don't like to really dress up, but shorts and flip flops is a little too much, in my opinion. The most I've ever been dressed up was when I was married and I could hardly wait to get out of that dress!

Depends on my mood..sometimes i get so girly i wanna dress up for church or even on going to office. And on office parties too. This doesnt happen often tho

I like to wear dressy clothes, my husband is more of a jeans kind of person. But so long as the clothes are clean and fit properly its all good to me. Your niece is a living doll!

Hmm. My church is come as you are. Since I walk to church (except for winter and rainstorms), I wear jeans and a nice shirt. If it's cold, a sweatshirt or jacket would do. Some people dress up in suits and dresses. Not too dress up at my new church.

Your niece is SO lovely - really photogenic! A lot of people here dress very casually to go to church especially in summer in the holiday towns.
