Another Plucking Day

Philippines
May 2, 2016 2:52am CST
Even though it was so hot today, it didn't stop from looking up the mango tree and see if there are still that can be plucked. Before, we never do it with the green mango, but with it's hot weather last month, I noticed a lot of ripe ones that's ready for harvest. So far I've plucked the ones that you see in the picture. But some of them have fallen due to high winds. Unfortunately, If I don't see them soon, the rats will feast on them, worst, I realized that some of mangoes I've drank in a shake were actually consumed by rats earlier but so far no complications...yet My fear now is that when mom finds I've harvested these she will treat and give it to some of her friends, Doesn't she realize how hard it is to pluck most of them only to be given to some one else Well, that's it for today I think.

I thought they gave you a house / land or something @CaptAlbertWhisker maybe you can ask some one to give a huge mango seed to plant. but this will take decades before it grows.

Then when your mom gives the mangos away to her friends all your hard will be for nothing as there will be no mangos for you to eat.

@Letranknight2015 I wouldn't blame you a bit if you didn't want to pluck the mangoes.

Hello @Marcyaz I don't think I can tell her to keep it to ourselves but if she does that I won't pluck mangoes anymore.

Hello @ridingbet I just only want her and grandma to benefit since they both like ripe mangoes. turth is that it was little hard but more easy since they drop quickly as they hit them.

@Letranknight2015 oh, and those mangoes are not carabao or native ones right? they are Indian, or maybe Hawaiian?
