The Core is a science fiction movie from 2003 if you haven't seen it you should as it makes you think what can happen to our Planet Earth.
A team is put together that has to drill to the center of the Earth trying to restore the rotation of the Earth.
The stars are Aaron Eckhart, Hilary Swank and Delroy Lindo plus others.
I found this movie on Netflix and I really enjoyed watching it.

It was their from the start which is why they need to go down there and jump start the core again. Im glad as of now no one has that technology, i think

I have this movie on the CD. And I loved the movie. Being a lover of such sci-fi movies, I normally either buy them out or even store them on the computer's disk for later viewing.
I loved the concept of the movie and also the fact that it has very little of those glossy special effects. The movie did sound logical - as that can be the last way we can attempt to get the earth start rotating again, in case it stops ever.

I have not seen this film yet Marcy. I hope to see it one day or night when I can get time to watch it.
It sounds really good. I like Hilary a lot.

Not seen this film but I may seek it out on Netflix when I have a spare couple of hours.
The earth's rotation is slowing down very gradually. Apparently a day is about 1.7 milliseconds longer than it was 100 years ago. If it continues at that rate I don't think we'll be needing to send a team in any time soon

It seems some movies seem familiar because they are along the same lines.

I have seen this movie but it was a long time ago and to be honest, I don't really remember much except Hilary Swank was a female role model as a take charge astronaut.
