Seeing Similarities...

Trying to make a buck on the internet seems like it takes forever. But there are sites out there and they hook you in and then suddenly they're having problems with the site, then they raise the level of cash out, then suddenly they can't pay you. The first time I experienced this was here at mylot, then on to Bubblews. I'm a member of the writing site blogjob, as I'm sure even though you might not be a member of the site there have been posts flying around here how they had 150 point limit daily for your activity. Then they lowered it down to 100, they've been having maintenance going on the site as well. Today the "rewards program has been suspended!" Now, I like to play it safe and only cash out at minimum which is 5,000 (which would be $25 cash) but I have some friends that have over 7,000 points!! So, I'm seeing some similarities to Bubblews here So, my on-line internet friend told me about a site...LiteracyBase...it's similar to blogjob, in there are different ways you get rewarded, like logging in, comments, making forum posts and blogging. But there is nothing that tells us how much we get per activity. The cash out is $10 and you get paid monthly like mylot. When you see similarities of sites and what happened to them, do you often carry what happened to other sites in the past with you to the new sites? I'm hoping neither of these sites are bad and I also hope that mlyot continues!! ~Peace~ photo courtesy of bing public images

Once I hit 5,000 I wasn't sure whether to keep going or cash out. I wish I had cashed out. They say they will honor redeemed points that are already accumulated. I just may not do it because I may want to take my blogs elsewhere instead.

@Gina145 They will deduct points for every post you delete, so I don't know what they would do if you collected the money and then deleted all the posts.

@Rollo1 Even if you claim the money they owe you, your blogs are still yours to take elsewhere. I'm sure they won't make you pay back the money if you delete them later.

@Rollo1 I know they've been deducting points, but having a negative balance wouldn't be a problem if you wanted to delete your account. It would be a big issue if you wanted to start a new blog under the same account though.

For the life of me, I can't find one place on that LB site that says they pay anything. Is there a link to a page where they describe the earnings?

@Rollo1 , that's my biggest concerns is that there is no proof of anyone being paid, nor do they say how much you get "rewarded" for for each activity you do!! I've even asked that question in one of the administrators post,,still no response!!

I'm not giving up hope a for BlogJob just yet, but I don't think I'll be joining LiteracyBase. If I go elsewhere I'll probably move my content to a Blogger blog as that seems like the safest option.

I am sick and tired of all those sites popping up and disappearing as fast. I don't bother anymore.

online sites can be there today gone tomorrow, the best thing is not to keep your eggs in 1 basket and also withdraw as soon as you reach the minimum to cash out and not a day later

Bottom line is I think all these sites need to stop copying one another and quit using methods that have been shown not to work. That is the problem with the fake it to make it society we have become.

When I first visit the site last year I noticed it is a WordPress site and it reminds me of PostAnyArticle one day it might close too. I just joined for curiosity because a myLot member posted a discussion that $100 is possible in 20 days.

I have searched everywhere and can't find any payment proof or what your "reward" is for each activity you do! Wow!! $100 in 20 days??

I hope the site is just experiencing a little wobble and will sort itself out. It's sad when these sites go and shut down.
