I Am Not Amused

So, many of you know the problem I had with my computer. Two days ago I spent about five hours on the phone with tech support doing a clean up on my computer. Today the tech called to see how my computer was running. I told him about the sticky keys problem on My lot and some other things. He took over my computer again and did some work taking adware off. And, he had me work on here a bit to see if it did the sticky thing again. I don't him it didn't do it right way. Blah, blah, blah. Now he tells me to use the old browser instead of ME or Chrome. The one from before that upgrade. So, what does that say about Windows 10?

You make me realize how happy I am to have bought a Chromebook, I'm told they don't have those problems.

I have been hearing a lot about those and I may have to see if I can get one. You haven't had any issues with yours then?

Be thankful you didn't download it. I wish we had left it alone. My sister down loaded 10 then removed it and went back to 9.

I know exactly what you are experiencing. Windows 10 is driving me crazy. It takes forever to start, and it hangs up all the time. My pictures are scattered everywhere and I can't find half of them. Taking it to the computer shop does no good. I would like to get rid of windows 10, but my better half does very little on the computer and he thinks it's fine.

@rebelann .......I've gotten used to each one. I don't like change but can't improve technology without it.

It could be that Windows 10 kind of sucks if it can't function with a perfectly fine computer. It can also be your tech. A lot of times, techs take so long to diagnose the issues that you actually have, which result in frustration and unnecessary hassle. And they like to be paid by the hour. But who doesn't?

To me it says more about the technical support than Windows 10.

What a laugh he tells you to use your old browser instead of ME or Chrome. Doesn't say much for Windows 10 does it?

Computer issues is a mess. At least there's work getting the PC back in order. There's always some upgrade that's needed. Hard to keep up.

It says to me that it lives up to Microsoft's reputation. There's a very good reason that "Microsoft Works" can be considered an oxymoron, after all... The problem is that Microsoft doesn't seem to be capable of addressing issues. Historically, there were some pretty significant problems with the Internet Explorer browser in terms of security and vulnerabilities. It's not surprising to me that it's carried over to their newest browser. Honestly, I think it's a better idea to use a browser that's designed by a third party simply because they are dedicated to providing support for only that program. They're frequently updated to address new security concerns, and the fact that the company isn't necessarily contending with other software development at the same time is a great benefit. They aren't more focused on working out critical bugs within an operating system, for example, than addressing less serious issues with a browser.
