Praying for Peaceful Elections

There is a call from religious groups and the Catholic Church to put candles on sidewalks or public parks/places as a gesture of prayer for a peaceful elections on Monday, May 9.
They encourage to do it at 6 or 7 in the evening today, a Saturday, and the last day of campaigning of the candidates.
We are just praying and hoping it will be a clean and peaceful one, and the right leaders be voted into office.

Yes, in the Mass this morning, a prayer for a peaceful election was recited.

I will just do my part and respect whoever wins as president. I vow to be a good citizen and not complicate things for the next president. It's what the country needs. Support from people and unity.

I agree, we need to support whoever wins, but of course he/she should make true his/her promises to be of a true public servant.
