To all of our Mylotter friends in the Ft. McMurray/Alberta area; please be safe. The fire has already engulfed 240,000 acres sending over 80,000 people out of their homes. This fire is so intense that the plumes can be seen from space. The extreme, dry conditions of the area and the winds have created this Monster Fire and it is estimated it shall continue for at least another 3 weeks. Fire fighters are doing their best to try to contain this but it is a certainty that many more people will be evacuated and lose their homes. At the speed of which this fire is moving, please don't wait to evacuate to safety.
Convoys of vehicles carrying evacuees fleeing the fire in Fort McMurray, Alberta, rolled south under the watchful eye of Canadian police and military Friday.
