Good morning.A rare appearance with the sun fully out there with clear blue skies. My Dr.Visit was fine.He gave me a couple of prescription to try out
I for one not too happy in taking this.I checked out the side effects and they
are horrible.Heart attack, stroke, etc. Most of you know when you read the side effect.I am not sure if I want to take these.
So my question is.Should I or should not.Upset your stomach.
He want me to take this for a week.Right now the pain is gone and things are sort of back to normal.
How do you feel when you read the side effect on this.

Most of the meds I take have horrifying effects if you read the side effects. The thing is, will they help more?

@amadeo When I had chemotherapy, I knew I didn“t have an option. But most of the time we can decide if and when.

Sometimes I don't do the medication if my body does not feel right after I have taken in the first few.

@amadeo or better tell your doctor what you feel about the given meds so he could maybe make you feel more at ease with the medicine or change the prescription.

I visited the doctor last week. He gave me a prescription too, but I did not buy it nor take it. I chose to continue relieving the symptoms naturally.

I am more like you and tend to question medications. I hate that doctors are quick to give medications - but I suppose that is what they are taught to do (and get paid by the pharmaceutical companies - but that's another story). I know, it's a hard call on what to do . . . we are literally at the doctor's mercy - at the same time we know that having all these side effects can't be a good thing.

I have asked my doctor about side effects of my medication, or taking them with another medication that says "Do not take if you are taking..." but my doctor told me I'm not taking a high enough dose to be concerned with it.

Most medications have a list of crazy side effects. What happens is that during the trial phase, if it happens to just one person who was in poor health to begin with - it has to be listed as a potential side effect. Don't worry about it too much.

I never read them or I will stay sick by not taking the meds. I need to get off the one diabetes pill I take now.

Unless it's to stop something worse then I wouldn't take it - but only for your overall good health. You want to make yourself better!

I'm not really qualified to answer your question, as I foolishly don't read the side effects.
