~It Happened This Way For A Reason~

My husband left this morning to go to a job clearing someone's property. There were over grown bushes galore and it was an acre in size. My husband gave him the price of $800 to do it all and the guy changed his mind saying he charged too much. My husband said the yard looked like a jungle! My husband came home, unloaded everything and someone was driving down the road with a flat tire. I told my husband to stop the person and ask if they needed help. So, my husband is taking him to the auto part store to get something he needs to replace the tire. I told him maybe that's why the job didn't work out so we could help someone today. =) If we can help someone's day improve it's all worth it!

@Hatley Yeah, my husband said it was the worst yard he has ever seen. He was going to have to rent a machine to clear it out so that's why he charged what he did. Oh well, it worked out anyway. =)

That is a positive way to look at it. You are right everything happens for a reason and maybe today was the day he wasn't suppose to work but to help someone out.

I think that if your husband did the job for that man, he would not be satisfied and find fault with his work. Maybe he was meant to be there for the man with the flat tire. God puts people in special places for special reasons.

@akalinus Yeah, that's how it seemed to me as well. We don't need that kind of customer anyway. I do think God made sure we were here so we could help him and I love that, I think it's awesome that we could help someone today. =)

I certainly do agree with ou there. I love helping othes, as I gain a great blessing from doing so, and I think the ones being helped, also hain a blessing too. I will help without asking for anything in return. That is the kind of person that I am, and I guess that is a good thing. I will continue to help people as long as I have breath to do so.

This is all nice and dandy, but who is going to pay the regular bills? $800.00 was a lot of money.

@marlina He has other jobs he's doing, that was just the only one scheduled for today. He would have had to rent machines to clear that yard which is why he charged that.
