I will be so thankful when this school year has ended. My oldest is graduating high school, my middle is graduating 8th grade, and all the others are moving on as well. I can't believe my little one only has one more year of preschool, and my oldest daughter is halfway through high school! My youngest son will be in 4th grade, and less than a month after they start their new school year, they will have another baby sister. I'm so excited. I just want to rest though. This has been a hectic few months.

It'll be nice once summer is here. For my oldest this is her first school summer break for my other two it's just like any other day. I know my husband is ready for summer because he has off the whole summer.

@cpefley I'm babysitting the whole summer. I dot really get a vacation since my job is all year around. We are taking 4 days and going to Ohio for a family reunion. That should be fun.

That is great. It is nice that the entire family gets to stay home :)

Do you have some fun, summer plans? Is your daughter planning on going to college or is she going to travel the world or...? That newness after High School, where life seems like an empty slate full of possibilities, is a fun time. Are your kids excited about the new baby? My kids keep asking when we're going to have the next baby. (We have 6 kids and the youngest is currently 1.) In fact, I'll often overhear them with their little plans, saying, "The next one will be a boy, and then another boy, and then a girl..." I should just have triplets and fill our quota in one fell swoop! Congratulations on the upcoming arrival of your new little one!

Not really. Just resting. Going to do a few things with the kids, like the beach and stuff, but mostly stay home. It is my son that is graduating, and I'm not sure what he's going to do after. I know he wants to go to college, but I think he's taking a break. My younger kids are excited about the baby, yes. :) I'm done after 6 though lol. I'm too tired to keep doing this. So you want 9 kids? :)

@cpefley We're open to as many kids as God will bless us with. I used to say I wanted 7. Then I met hubby and we talked about having an even dozen. We'll see what happens. :) I think I might have used the wrong word. Not quota...what is the word I'm looking for...? Anyway, I'm looking forwards to many trips to the beach this year, too.
