Brown Eggs

My son just called from Florida where he and his wife are on vacation. They have beautiful brown eggs delivered to their door, so he asked us to go pick them up. They will be home on Saturday but he thinks the eggs will spoil being out in the heat. So, we will go get the eggs. My better half says brown eggs are delicious and we don't see them in the grocery store. Anyway he is in for a treat. I really can't tell the difference in eggs. They all just taste like eggs to be, but he can tell the difference with the first bite. He is getting ready to go for his physical therapy and I'm going to clean carpets while he is away. I usually go to walk the hospital trail, but I'm holding off on the walking until I get off the antibiotics and the dental work taken care of. Everyone have a good day.

My grandparents always had chickens, and piles of eggs. I don't think they had brown eggs, though.

@RubyHawk we just hatched off a few to help us get more eggs, I have one son that is a weight lifter, that kid can wipe out a dozen in one sitting.

Not sure why they aren't in the grocery stores. I used to eat the brown ones when I was a kid growing up at my grandparent's. Bante chickens had them and they were a bit smaller than the normal white ones. But tastier for some reason.

Exactly, that's what my better half says. He can really tell the difference in the brown ones and the white ones. I don't know why they are different colors.

My better half swears brown eggs taste best. He loves them. My taste buds must not be as refined as yours and his.

If we did, that would be the only eggs I'd buy.

I wonder if it's just because they are free range or organic or something?
