Hide nor Hare

After seeing neither hide nor hair of our new bunny, after the kids walked the neighborhood and passed out "Lost" fliers, after realizing he might have just got et by a feral cat...hubby found him.
Hubby came home, walked to the front yard, and flat-out found him like it was nothing.
The little bugger was hiding in our mess of herbs in the front yard.
My husband is a good finder!

My 3-year-old loves to hold him. After she was done, she set him loose in the backyard. He immediately high-tailed if under the porch and later where we couldn't reach him. Eventually he figured out he could squeeze under the gate and escape to the front yard.
So, yeah, it was one big mistake.
I'm still working on training the 3-year-old to not set the rabbit free...
