Chapped Lips

My lips are far from perfect. It is part of the reason why I don't really put lipstick on much because I feel like it emphasizes the bad condition that my lips are in. More often than not my lips are chapped and cracked. Part of the reason is because I bite my lip skin on a regular basis. I think that may be from anxiety, but I am not sure. Another reason is probably because I am not drinking as much water as I should. When it starts getting too bad my lips bleed at random and are super sore when I stretch my lips in any way like smiling because of the cracks. As soon as I feel them get this bad I start slathering my lips in chapstick and lip balms. Usually this helps my lips to kind of shed the skin that is too messed up to heal and then soften up and return moisture to my lips. I can't get my lips to look nice and plump or wrinkle free if that makes sense. One day I will be able to have good looking lips and hopefully that day will be my wedding day. Do you suffer with chapped lips like I do? Do you bite your lip skin? How do you beat chapped/cracked lips?
