Armageddon is a reason for HOPE, not FEAR.
I realize that not everyone will want to read this, so that’s your choice, but for those who do choose to read it, I hope you will take it to heart.
Although we may not have the same religion or think the same way about some things, no doubt you will agree that life is filled with problems. So, wouldn’t you like to live at a time when there is no more hatred, hardship, sickness and even death? If so, you may want to read this article.
There is much controversy about the word, Armageddon (or in Hebrew, Har-Mageddon.) In the Bible book of Revelation, (Revelation 16:14-16) Har-Mageddon is called “the war of the great day of God the Almighty,” a war against the “kings of the entire inhabited earth.” (Daniel 2:44)
So what exactly is Armageddon? And as this great war approaches, should we be in fear? Actually, God’s war is for the purpose of cleansing the earth of everything evil, from evil governments and evil religions to evil men and women, paving the way for a bright, prosperous new world, under God’s Kingdom. The Kingdom that Jesus taught us to pray for, in the “Lord’s Prayer.” Jesus would not have asked us to pray for something that was never going to happen.
While on earth, Jesus preached about this kingdom and taught his disciples to do the same. In fact, Jesus spoke of many signs of the last days at Matthew the 24th chapter, Luke the 21st chapter and Mark the 13th chapter. Jesus knew that Armageddon would come and he said that one more thing needed to be done before the end would come. What was it? Read Matthew 24:14. He said: “And this GOOD NEWS of the kingdom will be preached in all the inhabited earth FOR A WITNESS to all the nations and THEN the end will come.”
Did you know that over 8 million Jehovah’s Witnesses are in 240 lands and islands of the sea, preaching about this GOOD NEWS from door to door? They are giving a great WITNESS for Jehovah throughout the earth and are telling people about God’s Kingdom and about Jesus’ role as the King of that Kingdom.
The Bible explains that after Armageddon, the righteous “will possess the earth, and they will indeed find their exquisite delight in the abundance of peace.”
With ALL the BAD conditions gone forever, every day of life then, will be a delight. Not even sickness and death will mar the happiness of people. Revelation 21:3, 4 says that after Armageddon, God will “wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore.”
So, for the righteous, Armageddon is something for which to look forward. After Armageddon, the earth will be restored to a Paradise and there will be, only one RIGHTEOUS government in the hands of Christ Jesus who will rule over the earth in a righteous way. There will be everlasting PEACE on earth. Jesus has promised this will take place.
Jesus showed, when he was on earth, that he has the power to cure the sick and to feed the hungry and to resurrect the dead. As KING of God’s Kingdom, Jesus will be able to cure all those who are suffering and feed all those who are hungry and resurrect all those who are in the Memorial Tombs of death. (John 5:28, 29) Have you lost someone to death? Would you like to see that person again? God has promised a resurrection. Will you be there to welcome your loved ones?
Jesus ransomed mankind from sin and death and to benefit from that act of love on his part, we must live the life he told us to live. To show LOVE to everyone and discontinue anything that displeases God, whatever that may be. Living a clean, moral life now and worshipping the true God, Jehovah, is the only way to survive Armageddon and enjoy a righteous new world of peace and happiness forever.
We each have a choice. Choose life. All of this is in YOUR Bible. I welcome comments.

Armageddon will get rid of all evil and allow a new start with peace and prosperity. We have time to change our ways. We can start today. All the best!

Yes, Armageddon is definitely something to look forward to, because after it happens, there will be a "new earth." There will be peace on earth.
