Ok so this is the second time I am trying to post this.... Has anyone else had any posting problems?
I have been gone for ages it seems. My lost post was on February 20th. I have been truly busy. I started my college classes in January and I just got finished on May 6th. In those months we dealt with pneumonia, bronchitis and everything in between. I literally got so sick in March/April and the first week of May that I felt worse than I did when I was in my early 20's suffering from chicken pox! I had pneumonia and I hope I never get it again... I cannot imagine how bad it would have been if I were a smoker. I think I am finally over it. Now I am taking the summer semester off and I will be here until at least August. I hope that my schedule will allow me to keep up in August but I am not holding my breath. I have a tough semester coming up in the Fall.
I have so much that I need to share with everyone! I have missed you all and I am happy to be back!!

@rebelann The chicken pox incident was with my older boys. When they got the chicken pox, I did too and I was miserable. The younger boys have not had chicken pox yet.

These days they give immunization for that, don't they @Shellyann36 ?
Heck, your little ones have enough problems with asthma .... does lil Keith also have it?

My kids are in their twenties now, but if I remember correctly there's no vaccine for chicken pox, but there is one for shingles which I think we can get even if we had chicken pox. The nice things about the shingles vaccine is that it's a lifetime shot.
I used to think that shingles came to those that never had chicken pox, then I thought it was to those that had a mild case of CP, now I don't really remember who all can get it, but I decided either way I didn't want it. My sister had shingles and was miserable.

I can't imagine going back to college either. I really don't think I would pass the entrance exams, it has been so long since I was in school.

@Shellyann36 yes now I do remember oj the old mylot then bubblews my I had held on there til almost the last day and losall m y posts ther they should have warned us but

the day before yesterday I could not get on mylot all da y and as I w as wor king with a totally new comuter a nd new windows I was lost too bu t myson restored thunderb irs for my email and firefox so I can really use mylot.

@Hatley we did correspond here at Mylot before Bubblews and then at Bubblews as well. My posting and replying has been few and far between though.

There you are! I checked on you a week or two ago and noticed you had not posted in quite a while. Our family can relate on the college and running a family situation. Hubby is in school full time and we live on his part time salary. It can be quite a challenge. Hang in there, it is worth it. Glad you got a hard semester behind you and good luck with the upcoming fall one.

@mom210 thank you very much. Things were so much easier when I was younger. However when I was younger and in college I wasted a lot of time and a lot of money. This time around I am sticking with it. How has your family been?

@Shellyann36 We are doing well, ready for summer. I almost have the kids done with their school, I am so ready for a break. I am planning on doing some painting this summer touching up all those dirty hand print marks. You know how it is

Welcome back.. hope you could stay long.. sorry to hear that you have been so I'll for the past month. I know how hard it is for our age to be sick and would suffer from pneumonia.

Well glad to have you back and glad to hear you're over your pneumonia. Were you exposed to another person that had it or just mainly run down? Hopefully I'll catch some of your future sharings, but I'm a bit behind checking up and in with everyone on here myself.

I am having daily trouble with the site but I certainly hope it gets fixed soon. I am frustrated with the site freezing every few seconds for several minutes. I asked my son (40 years old and a pro on the internet) and he pointed out it was this site that is driving me crazy... Not one other...

@JudyEv normally everyone else in the house gets the respiratory illnesses. The twins both have asthma and Lil Keith has allergies that turn into bigger problems. Hubby is a smoker and has been for years so when he gets sick it normally turns into pneumonia. This was the first and I hope the last time that I ever suffer from it.
