No babysitting

This morning I got a text at about 6:40am saying that the little boy I babysit isn't coming today because he was really badly congested so his mommy let him stay home with her mother-in-law instead of coming over here. She was thinking he would probably be more comfortable at home today then with me and my kids. I hope he feels better because when they are small and congested they can be very uncomfortable and cranky at times. So instead of babysitting I've spend most the day cleaning, which worked at well since the two boys by themselves where busy trying to help us.

I babysit him all week till the weekend from 7am till 4pm since he was 6 weeks old. He is 2 years old and his sister is 6 and I watch her as well once she is done with school for the day.

@transcendent it's my job. I make about $300 a week and mom has two jobs for a while she had one so didn't have the kids till 12:15 to 4. I get paid extra on holidays if there is a sick day where they cancel I get paid up to 3 hours I also get paid extra if I have to feed one or both of the kids lunches which isn't often I normally know in the morning or the night before if I'm going to be but he normally comes with his own lunch. His mom and I went to high school together as well as my husband so we know each other very well and she trust me with her kids. My friend freaks out leaning the kids with anyone but me or her family. I love taking care of kid and my oldest next year will be in school all day for 8 hours and my middle might be going for 4 hours a day next year so it'll be the two younger boys.
