Good evening.Company coming at five thirty. Bob is coming one of my tennis partner. He was suppose to come with his girlfriend and call to say that she is still under the weather. Remember Bob 80th birthday. This is he. She got sick at the time of the party and ask if it was food poisoning. He said no.One thing that I did not like and stay away from we the shrimp being out most of the day without any ice.I thought that this was strange. They have I think to keep this fresh. So I pass on this. If you have shrimp out most of the day.Would you have put ice on it to keep it fresh?

I don't think it is a good idea to leave any food out all day.

My family doesn't put shrimp cocktail on ice when we serve it as an appetizer at parties. We haven't gotten sick so far.

No way would I keep shrimp out without having it on ice. That is just asking for problems.

Shrimp and all seafood must be kept in ice. And even then, I will try to eat it as soon as possible.

Having the shrimp out from the refrigerator is not good, and having it without ice is even worse.

I would prefer to keep shrimp cold. I don't think I'd want to keep it out for too long. I'd either want to have it eaten quickly, or keep it in the fridge until it is going to be eaten.
