Another Dreary Day..

Is it really the middle of May or is it October?? Went to feed the chickens and it was cloudy and drizzling. The weather seems more like fall than spring or summer!! 
I know quit complaining, when summer finally hits I'll be wishing for these cooler temperatures.
Got the mail and my bare root strawberries had been delivered!! So I was out planting my strawberries in my strawberry bed. I've never planted strawberries like this before. The last time I had a strawberry patch, we just bought seedlings and planted them. So, I'm praying that I did them right and that we will have a lot of strawberries in a couple of years. Strawberries and rhubarb take a couple of years before you can sow what you reaped!!

It's spring! Crazy weather while Mother Nature gets ready to heat it up. I am just afraid we are going to have a horribly hot summer so this weird weather is fine by me. Rather have drizzly days that sizzling heat myself.
