The MyLot New Wave Movement - "Jocko ****"

A couple weeks ago, @JohnRoberts started a mini new wave craze here on MyLot. It's since been quiet, new wave-wise, so, I thought I'd toss one out there, and who better than new wave pioneer's Devo.
Devo formed in 1973, in Kent and Akron, Ohio, shortly after the Kent State riots. Devo is short for "de-evolution," their theory that man is devolving rather than evolving. (In an old 1970's-era Skateboarder Magazine interview, the band called Kent State the most devo day ever.)
(Fun Wikipedia Fact: It was at the urging of both David Bowie and Iggy Pop that Warner Brothers signed Devo.)
"Jocko ****," from their debut album Q: Are We Not Men? A: We are Devo! was originally released as the B-side of their 1978 single "Mongoloid." It is a classic new wave tune, and remains a fan favorite all these decades later. I've seen them, and "Jocko ****" was, for me, the highlight of their set.
Devo's Saturday Night Live performance of the song in 1978 blew my fourteen-year-old mind, sending me down the new wave path, a path that led me to the discovery of a whole world of great music.
And for that I sincerely thank them.
R.I.P. Alan Myers and Bob Casale.
(Note that **** stands for the first part of Homosapien. The filter will not accept it on it's own. The band did not intend it as a slur on the LGBT community. Cleared with admin.)

Devo is also a fave of mine. What a shock. Totally unique with their Devo spacesuits (I see they don't wear the pillbox hats in the clip) and they way they moved like they were aliens. This song will get everyone jerkin' back and forth!

They are definitely one of a kind. When I saw them, they wore the hats and the suits at the same time. Great show.
