There are a few spammers around

I do not know if you noticed but recently there are a few people that create accounts here just to advertise for "binary options" which I think has something to do with the stock market. These people are always trying to convince us that there is a system or a way to make money online with binary options and that the amount of money is that you can make is very big. To be honest, I never tried any of their systems. I am pretty skeptical that they work. If you want to try it then let me know how it worked for you. But anyways, these spammers on mylot that I was talking about in the above paragraph, go to the private messages area and they copy paste a message and a link telling us to follow that specific link to learn how to make great amounts of money. What do you think of these spammers? Do they have a point with their systems? I mean, do people really make great amounts of money with those systems that they are promoting or not? What is your opinion?

These spammers are affiliates that will earn a percentage of what you will invest on these sites. Forex trading is not a scam by itself, but many sites offering Forex/Binary trading are scammers. I heard a radio news about a guy who had lost all his savings with scam Forex sites. Besides, as it has something to do with stock market, joining a site based in a foreign country might be a source of serious problems with your tax administration. In my country, I would have to fill a form when I join, and another one for each site on the tax return with a lot of supporting documents, while I have nothing to do if I play with Forex or stock market in my own country : the site sends all the documents needed to the tax administration. To sum up, my opinion is : keep away from any foreign site offering you to play with Forex or stock market.

@Cristi_Ichim It is business : it is normal to get a commission if you bring new costumers to a merchant. Long ago, I received a bottle of champagne and a foie gras from an insurance provider to have send a friend to him. I had just recommended my own insurer and I was not expecting anything.

ok. I generally do not trust these people and it is pretty obvious that they have something to earn out of the promotions that they make because they would be doing it if they weren't gaining anything out of it.

My opinion is that they are scammers and are trying to steal your money. I got two 'suggestions' in the last 12 hours from these people, which obviously means they have multiple accounts because they are suggesting each other.

Well, I suspect that they are scams. This what I think too. This is the reason why I do not give in to them.

@Cristi_Ichim Their claims might have something behind it, but their part in it is to get money.

No. The systems are generally scams.
Recently there has been an incident where a person joined MyLot in order to spam a number of members by sending PMs to them and without posting any discussion,...

I also believe that they are scams. They basically trying to convince us to join them and put our money into their system but we don't know if the results will be satisfying.

These spammers are usually jumped almost immediately and their accounts are deleted. Great amounts of money? Why would they be here spamming if they made great amounts of money?
