There are weird things afoot in the Poppylicious household. I let Qyzy Qat out on Tuesday morning. No you didn't, said Husband when I met him after work. When I left this morning he was curled up on the landing, fast asleep. I definitely remember letting him out. I had to check that he wasn't following me. When I went to leave the house on Thursday morning the front door was unlocked. You left the front door unlocked, I said to Husband. No I didn't, said Husband. You were the last person to call the cats. On Friday I left the cats in the house. No you didn't, said Husband when I met him after Baby Niece-sitting. I didn't see Dora at all. Dora jumped over the gate to greet us when the car pulled up at the house. I definitely left her in. So, there are two possibilities. Either I truly am getting forgetful and losing my marbles, or Husband is. I think it's Husband. Let's weigh up the evidence ... One - He left the oven on earlier. Two - Earlier this week he forgot he was boiling eggs, so they were boiled to within an inch of their little eggy lives. Three - He took my tea through to the living room this afternoon, then brought it back, then attempted to take it back into the living room. Four - ... well, there was a number four but I've forgotten what it was. I think the evidence is clear enough. My Husband is going doolally. The poor thing.
