Warning: Sleeping Pills May Cause Drowsiness

My job doesn't really allow me to have a decent sleeping schedule. The late shift will have me working until around 11pm and then I will have to work the morning shift the next day starting at 6am. It's pretty hard on me so I like to take melatonin to help me get to sleep quicker. I don't like to take medicine so I only take them when necessary. My job is difficult enough without showing up for a shift sleep-deprived. I was at the store yesterday, buying a new bottle of melatonin when I happened to look at the label and saw a warning that said, "may cause drowsiness". I actually laughed out loud and people turned to stare. It seems silly that they would put a warning label on a bottle of sleeping pills. Of course it's going to cause drowsiness. That's the whole point! lol

I'm sorry you have a gruesome schedule. Melatonin is natural but I still can only take a tiny chunk of one. I still look stoned and wake stoned. My hubby takes it every night so that he can sleep.

I'm hoping we can sort out the scheduling issue soon since so many people have been complaining about it. We'll have to see..

Isn't it funny when you have those laugh out loud moments in public and everyone stares at you like you're crazy? But sometimes you just have to!
